I think Naomi had a great Christmas! She has been playing in her pool full of balls and cooking soup & eggs like crazy! So fun to see how much she enjoys the simple pleasures of it all. Christmas next year will be very different with another little crazy one running around!! We can't wait! Happy holidays to you all!!

Naomi got a little kitchen for Christmas from Grandma & Grandpa Schlegel. We just brought it home for her yesterday and she is a big fan! She particularly loves the phone. I think we're getting her a cell phone for Christmas this year...

Christmas in November...

So I've been a total slacker at keeping this up to date, but am hoping to do better now that I'm at home. Yup, Naomi and I are home just hanging out most days. So far we've been having a really good time. Fingers crossed that that continues!! :-)

Last week we were in Nebraska and had Christmas with Peter's family. Peter's sister, Becky, is due at Christmas time so we celebrated with the whole family over Thanksgiving. Naomi had a great time being with her cousin Sam and seeing Grandma & Grandpa Schlegel and Becky, Jay and Marc. Even with the long car ride home in the snow, we had a great time!

We stopped at the Machine Shed for breakfast on the way. If you don't know what that is... well you should just be ashamed.

Naomi tried out her new boots this morning before church. They do match her polk-dot jammies quite nicely. She is a big fan!! It sounds like we might be needing them before terribly long. Thursday is my last day of work (yes forever... at least the forever of the near future) so we're looking forward to that! Crazy!!

Fabulous Goshen Weather!!

We thought we were reliving yesterday all over again when we came home today and the driveway and grass were completely covered with leaves AGAIN! But, the weather was beautiful, so Naomi and I got to rake some leaves and play with the little pumpkins again. We're soaking it in cause it sounds like it's not going to last too much longer!!

Trip to KS

We made a quick trip to good old Hutchinson, KS last weekend to visit Rae and Dave. We made a brief stop in Lincoln at the Schlegel bed & breakfast on our way. It was a loooong trip in the car, but Naomi did great and we had so much fun seeing Rae and Dave! We visited the Hutchinson Zoo, which was free... and for good reason. :-) But Naomi seemed to be quite taken by it.

grandma & grandpa holsopple and deb & rick came out to visit this weekend. grandma got the youngest holsopple cousins matching pj's so we had a little photo shoot on saturday. amazingly enough we ended up with some good shots of the whole crew!
